How much does it cost to rent the podcast studio?
CZK 1,100 per hour on weekdays and CZK 1,300 per hour at weekends and on public holidays. The 12-hours-for-10 package costs CZK 11,000 (weekdays) or CZK 13,000 (weekends) and is valid for 1 year.
Can I see the studio before booking?
Yes. Book a free studio tour online any weekday between 9am and 5pm. It takes about 30 minutes – you can try the microphones and we'll talk about your podcast.
What equipment does the studio have?
4 RØDE microphones and headphones for everyone, a mixing desk, a teleprompter, a ring light, modular lighting, colour LCD lamps and modular backdrops. A technician sets everything up for you.
Do you record video or offer post-production?
We don't provide camera recording, but you can film with your own cameras – we have tripods and lights. We don't offer post-production; you'll get a recording ready for editing.
What format will I get the recording in?
Exactly how you need it: MP3 or uncompressed WAV, every microphone as a separate track as well as a finished mix. We'll agree on the hand-over – e.g. USB or a download link.
What is the minimum booking?
1 hour on weekdays and 2 hours at weekends and on public holidays. Every started hour is charged. The studio is open daily 9am–6pm, including public holidays.
How do I pay?
Your first booking is paid after the session. Every later booking is invoiced with payment due in 7 days.
Can I cancel or reschedule?
Yes, free of charge up to 24 hours before your session – just e-mail studio@dobrokruh.cz or call us. Later cancellations or no-shows are charged a CZK 1,000 fee.
Is the studio wheelchair accessible?
The studio is on the first floor, reached by stairs – there is no lift in the building. If you need any help, just let us know in advance.
Do you speak English?
Yes, fluently. You can book, ask questions and record with us in English.
How do I get to the studio?
Vítkova 247/7, Prague 8 – Karlín, right next to the Karlín Barracks. It's a 6-minute walk from Florenc metro station (lines B and C). You can park right outside – it's a paid blue zone on weekdays and free in the evening and at weekends.
